Theological Preamble:

    We are chosen participants in God's continuing adventure of creation and redemption. The story began centuries ago with the call of Abraham and Sarah and continues with God's work in Christ as the particular saving drama by which God is redeeming all creation. We are excited to be called as ambassadors for Christ, who has the power to recreate us and our world. We joyfully celebrate our freedom from all that might dominate or diminish us, trusting our lives to none other than Jesus, the Son of God. In willing obedience, we seek first the Kingdom of God and welcome the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Core Statement:

    As a covenant community of God's people, we offer a haven for renewal, lightening one another's burdens and sharing one another's joys. We challenge each other to identify, develop, and commit our unique gifts. We recognize our brother Jesus in the faces and voices of all people. In a world that experiences conflict and suffering, we work for peace and justice, letting the light of God shine forth. We create space and time in our lives for the fire and wind  of the Spirit. Experiencing the surprising hand of God, we rejoice as we are drawn into communion with our Creator and all creation.
